Since my last post in late July that call still holds. I have been busy trading the short side of the markets and re loaded my small gold stocks over the past few weeks.

Memorial Day Gold 655 not much to say

Gold continued it's drop, continues to be hit by the banks in NY. Many expect to see 640 (red line) or less, I would not be suprised.

So long as we don't take out the other lows to the left we may be ok. Others on the gold sites are buying buying.

For me I am long and waiting with mostly jrs.

I suppose there is blood in the streets... look at IAG and VGZ for example. Forced selling?

Be careful out there.

Weekly update Sunday TYO open Gold 662.80

This chart says it all.
Note each test of the Fib Retrace of the full move on this chart.

The trend line break is just another fake out break out?

Pivots point lower but I don't think any lower targets will be reached which will be bullish.

Buy.

Gold 671 Weekend Update

Gold traced an ABC down to nearly the exact pivot point at 664.30 basis cash on Net Dania.

I was suggesting in our live room that the correction and bump was not enough of a correction.

A closer look showed an extreem over sold, (outside the bolband), a hit on trendline support and the pivot touch produced an intra-day buy for me.

The CCI indicator also reached an over sold point.

Weekend Update

I would like to thank the few of you who visit regularly looking for updates. Here's the gold chart in a daily and 8 hour with BolBands and trendline.
I like the MACD cross and lower low on the histogram.

Near term hidden pivots point to 704 and 724 as areas to watch. A break of 724 will take us higher.

Recently GSS had a near perfect pivot from the top down to 4.22
(no chart here)

The Canada Dollar vs the US Dollar is making new highs, I wonder if it will be news worthy when the $Canada = $ US.

Gold has passed the 675 area and is looking up. We are up at the channel where Sinclair says to sell 1/3... I note the speculative issues are all popping up, feels like a short term top?

Note the MACD does not confirm this move.

General markets also look anemic.

Gold tagged the 78.6 % retrace perfectly.

Consolidation?

Perhaps Gold knows something we do not.

Sliver, has a ways to go whilst SSRI leads the way.

Gold / XAU ratio topped 6 days ago.

Comod bull back, look at the leaders.

General Markets tenuous, Short MER and JOYG again.

Gold & Silver Fib Fever...

Silver below does not look as promising.

Made one more trade in the JOYG puts on Friday early. I managed to pick up 1.5k on them this week.

Gold has caught fib fever...
These are standard fib retraces.
We have Hoye 78.6% above at 675 to get through on the upside.

No trades yesterday, was busy with meetings.

JOYG option trades for March

Here's my option trades on JOYG.

I had calls early on from the 40 area but sold at b/e. After seeing the rally spike I started a put position very near the top on Tues. Closed for 1k profit and today put again for 424.25 gain. Had the potential do add or (do it twice). I like trading these but the spread can be quite rich.


Oil appears to be over bot short term.
Traders could lighten up.

Comment: This could be the start of a strong move. I will post some pivot numbers after some study here.

This is a weekly chart with longer term trend lines.

Every time Gold falls fast we are always looking for the areas of support. Here we have 630 as solid support.

Shorter term a reversal is in the making. In my opinion if gold does not touch 630 it could be a big up.







In our live discussion group URZ has been one of our (my) favorite traders.

At this point this looks like a severe reversal down, some might see an Island reversal? Todays GAP is not good. Sold the last 100 shares today.
